Product Description

TEKNOKUR 200 is a solvent borne liquid curing compound based on hydrocarbon resin, used for preventing water loss in concrete by forming layer.

Preparation of Substrate

Fresh concrete and surface hardener should be hardened sufficiently in order to prevent damage on the surface.

Application Method

It has to be applied on fresh concrete by spraying method or with the help of a brush or roller provided there is no accumulation on the surface. To ensure an even application by spraying the distance between nozzle and surface should be in between 0.5 and 1.0 meter. Be careful to achieve a good and even distribution. Drying time of the material is approximately 45 minutes (+20°C).

Coverage

0.12 – 0.20 lt/m² depends on the surface, application type and whether conditions.

Watchpoints

·         The concrete substrate should be hardened sufficiently.

·         Ventilate during the application.

·         Clean tools immediately after use with a cellulosic thinner.

·         Protect treated areas from rain for at least 2 hours after application.

·         TEKNOKUR 200 is delivered in ready to use packages. Solvents or water should not be added to the mixture during the application.

·         Do not apply on surfaces with pedestrian or vehicle traffic.

·         Remaining TEKNOKUR 200 films have to be removed prior to application of any subsequent treatment.

·         Contains solvent and flammable.

Storage and Shelf Life

TEKNOKUR 200 should be stored in a cool, dry place above +5°C. Shelf life of unopened container in correct storage conditions is at least 12 months.
