Acrylic and Solvent Based Concrete Curing and Surface Protection Polish

Product Description

TEKNOKUR 300 is a solvent borne, liquid curing and polishing compound based on acrylic resin. It is used for preventing water loss and for surface protection.

Preparation of Substrate

Fresh decorative concrete and surface hardener should be hardened sufficiently in order to prevent damage on the surface.

Application Method

TEKNOKUR 300 has to be applied on fresh concrete with the help of a brush or a short nap roller (phenolic roller) provided there is no accumulation on the surface. Apply directly to surface with saturate roller completely and use long, overlapping continuous movements to insure a uniform glaze coat. Be careful to achieve a good and even distribution. Touch drying time of the material is approximately 30 minutes (+20°C).

Coverage

0.15 kg/m² depends on the surface, application type and whether conditions.

Watchpoints

·         The concrete substrate should be hardened sufficiently.

·         Ventilate during the application.

·         Clean tools immediately after use with a cellulosic thinner.

·         Protect treated areas from rain for at least 1 hour after application.

·         TEKNOKUR 300 is delivered in ready to use packages. Solvents or water should not be added to the mixture during the application.

·         Do not apply on surfaces with pedestrian or vehicle traffic.

·         Only mechanical cleaning of hardened TEKNOKUR 300 films is possible.

·         Contains solvent and flammable.

Storage and Shelf Life

TEKNOKUR 300 should be stored in a cool, dry place above +5°C. Shelf life of unopened container in correct storage conditions is at least 12 months.
